Lawrence Wollin
Lawrence is the educator and originator of THE IVY LEAGUE TUTOR. He has attended 2 Ivy League Schools; Cornell University and The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania graduating with honors.
He spent nearly 20 years living and working in Western Europe in the field of Financial services. He and his family have been in the Bay Area for over two decades.
For the past 6 years, Lawrence has been an educator in such fields as: K-12, English, Science, Math, Foreign Language, Music, Special Education and STEM.
His idea of tutoring came from many hours of his observation in the classroom. Many of the students need additional assistance and are not getting properly served. He is able to be the curator of your child’s additional academic needs.
Hillary Wollin
Hillary is the “Big 10” tutor coming from University of Wisconsin and University of Illinois. She has a passion for helping children of all ages reach their optimum potential In learning. She holds a Master Degree in Special Education and has taught in the Chicago Public Schools for 8 years before moving to Europe.
She attended L’Ecole pour les Etrangers at La Sorbonne in Paris and tutored students in England as well as taught her own 2 children. Hillary has substituted and has been a volunteer teacher at several Marin County Schools as well at the Short School in San Rafael.
Hillary is a certified birth and postpartum Doula and has assisted many of her Babies with their educational needs. She is a very proud grandmother and Entrepreneur and strives to live her life to the fullest everyday.
Alessandro
Italian Tutor
Alessandro hails from a long line of Sicilian politicians and businessmen. He moved to Lago di Como when he was young and studied there as well in neighboring Milan. He has been teaching children for over 10 years in Italy as well here in Marin County. His motto is that we all need to nurture our children.
Georgia
French Tutor
Georgia comes from the south of France near Nice. She has studied child psychology, education, and behavior for children at universities in NIce and Amiens. She has been teaching at the Lycee Francais for over 15 years. She also tutors students for the International Bac as well as the French AP test.
